Morocco to return to GMT+1 time from next Sunday

The Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform announced the return to “GMT+1” time, by adding 60 minutes to the legal time of the Kingdom of Morocco at 2:00 AM on Sunday, April 14, 2024.

According to a statement from the ministry, this decision is taken in accordance with the provisions of Article 2 of Decree No. 2.18.855 of 16 Safar 1440 (October 26, 2018) relating to the legal time of the Kingdom, and the decision of the Prime Minister No. 3.10.24 of 12 Chaabane 1445 (February 22, 2024) concerning the change of the legal time of the Kingdom.
