Elon Musk reveals the launch date of “Starship” in its journey to Mars

Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX, announced that the massive “Starship” rocket will begin its journey to Mars at the end of 2026, carrying the “Optimus” robot developed by Tesla.

Musk explained on his platform X that experimental landing operations will determine the readiness to send humans to the red planet. He mentioned that this could be possible by 2029, although 2031 seems to be the most realistic year to achieve this goal.

Musk had previously presented the “Optimus” robots during a special event last year, stating that in the future, they would be able to perform strenuous tasks and provide assistance services, with a price range between $20,000 and $30,000.

“Starship” is the largest rocket in the world, standing at 123 meters tall. It is a key part of Musk’s vision for the colonization of Mars, designed to be fully reusable, making it a cornerstone of future space exploration ambitions.
