The MOU was signed by Morocco’s Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water, and Forests, Mr. Mohamed Sadiki, and his Israeli counterpart, Mr. Avraham Moshe Dichter. The memorandum also encompasses plans for the creation of an agricultural research center
In a statement to the press, Mr. Dichter emphasized that this memorandum of understanding aims to enhance the exchange of knowledge and expertise in the fields of agriculture, wheat cultivation, and the water sector. He added, “It is a significant step forward for both countries,” expressing his belief that in a few years, both nations will achieve highly positive results in terms of food security
As part of the effort to strengthen bilateral relations, Ministers Sadiki and Dichter held discussions on the sidelines of the Second African Conference on Reducing Health Risks, which continues until September 29. These discussions focused on prospects for enhancing cooperation in the fields of agriculture and fisheries
