Alalam24, Morocco and Israel signed a memorandum of understanding on Friday in Rabat, between the Moroccan Minister of Health and Social Protection, Khalid Ait Taleb, and the Israeli Minister of Interior and Health, Moshe Arbel, who was visiting Morocco. The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of healthcare
According to a statement from the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the provisions of this memorandum include the exchange of expertise and best practices in medical and technological innovation, combating non-communicable diseases, coordinating cooperation in pandemic response, preparedness, and prevention, as well as working together to enhance strategic planning efforts for healthcare systems with a focus on hospital infrastructure and operational capacities
During their discussions, the ministers explored ways to strengthen the relationship between the two countries in the fields of health and social protection. They also discussed coordinating efforts between Morocco and Israel in managing public health issues and promoting innovation in the healthcare sector
The same source added that this partnership reflects the mutual commitment of Morocco and Israel to enhance cooperation in the healthcare sector, as well as the size of the partnership and mutual commitment between the two countries in improving the health and well-being of their populations
