The authorities of Rabat are implementing a comprehensive plan to modernize the city’s infrastructure and prepare it to host the 2030 World Cup.
This plan is based on strategic projects aimed at enhancing the capital’s position as a global destination, reflecting Morocco’s development in various fields.
The plan includes the development of large areas to expand the city’s growth, with 1,372 hectares designated for strategic expansion, along with 487 hectares for new diverse projects.
It also includes 262 hectares for green spaces, reinforcing the concept of a “green city” that combines modernity with environmental sustainability.
Efforts also include the modernization and expansion of the city’s transportation network, including improvements to tramway lines and the development of modern road networks aimed at facilitating mobility and reducing traffic congestion.
