Morocco’s Minister of National Education, Primary Education, and Sports, Shakib Benmoussa, presided over a ceremony in Rabat to sign a contract aimed at regulating the relationship between families and private school educational institutions. The Ministry of National Education, Primary Education, and Sports, in a press release, stated that the signing of this contract primarily seeks to formalize the relationship between families and private school educational institutions. This includes the regulation and organization of the contractual agreement, specifying the duties and rights of families and private school educational institutions, both in terms of material and educational aspects

The contract also ensures that families have the right to access the facilities and educational projects of the institution

Additionally, it guarantees their right to access the results of certification exams obtained by their children, as well as the right to ensure regular school attendance and access to documents and certificates related to their children’s education. Importantly, it prevents their academic journey from being compromised due to any financial disputes between the parties involved

To address any potential disputes between families and private school educational institutions, the contract establishes a mediation mechanism through regional directorates, ensuring a peaceful resolution process

This initiative represents a significant step towards strengthening the collaboration between families and private educational institutions, ultimately benefiting the education system in Morocco
