The conference witnessed a strong and distinguished presence of young leaders from various African and Arab countries, adding significant momentum to the sessions and enriching discussions about the future of leadership and development across the continent.
This participation comes at a pivotal moment for the Council, as it celebrates its 21st anniversary this year — a milestone from which it looks forward to new horizons and works on developing its strategies to keep pace with contemporary challenges and meet the aspirations of youth.
In his speech, Eng. Huzyfa Elhassan warmly praised the tremendous efforts made by EPIKLEADERS in organizing this outstanding conference, and sincerely thanked the administration of Hassan II University, particularly the National School of Business and Management, for their excellent hospitality and support.
Mr. Elhassan emphasized that the Afro Arab Youth Council (AAYC) , which has been hosted by Sudan since its founding in 2004, has always kept its doors open to all Arab and African youth and their diverse organizations and affiliations. Today, more than ever, the Council is committed to embedding a culture of openness as a core pillar of its work for the coming phase.
He further explained that participating in the Future Leaders Conference was a fruitful opportunity that resulted in several new partnerships and upcoming initiatives, which will soon be announced, aiming to build youth capacities in leadership, innovation, and economic development — ultimately enhancing their role in shaping the future of the continent.
