IBN TOFAIL UNIVERSITY JOINS THE PRESTIGIOUS UI GREENMETRIC RANKING AND EMERGES AS THE TOP PUBLIC UNIVERSITY IN MOROCCO

Ibn Tofail University (UIT) is proud to announce its inclusion in the 2024 UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, where it has been recognized as the 600th most sustainable university in the world. Furthermore, UIT has been distinguished as the top public university in Morocco, a global acknowledgment that highlights its exceptional commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.

The official results were announced during a ceremony held on December 12, 2024, at the University of São Paulo in Brazil, bringing together representatives from leading universities worldwide. This year’s edition featured the participation of 1,477 universities from 95 countries, underscoring the growing emphasis on sustainable initiatives within higher education on a global scale.

Ibn Tofail University’s placement in this international ranking is a significant achievement, underscoring its commitment to driving positive change locally, nationally, and globally through, among other things, the quality of its programs, research, community engagement, knowledge transfer, and governance.
