Alalam24, In Rabat, a partnership agreement has been signed to establish a “Reconciliation Center,” aimed at rehabilitating and reintegrating prisoners convicted in cases related to extremism and terrorism
This agreement was signed by Ahmed Abbadi, the Secretary-General of the Mohammedan League of Scholars, Mohamed Saleh Tamek, the General Delegate of Prison Administration and Rehabilitation, Fouzi Lekjaa, the Minister Delegate in charge of the budget, Amina Bouayach, the President of the National Council for Human Rights, and Abdelwahed Jamal Eddine, the General Coordinator of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Reintegration of Prisoners
According to this agreement, the center will be entrusted with the tasks of countering violent extremism, rehabilitating, and reintegrating those convicted in terrorism and extremism cases, following the conditions specified in the agreement. Additionally, the center will oversee the current “Reconciliation” rehabilitation program and ensure its continuity, providing support and follow-up for its beneficiaries after their release
