Angola and Morocco: Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

Alalm24, Angolan Foreign Affairs Minister, Tití António, emphasized the exceptional cooperation between Angola and Morocco during an event in Luanda. He stated that both countries should further develop this cooperation in various fields.

Mr. António highlighted the significance of the Morocco-Angola Joint Committee, which allows for the identification of specific areas for collaboration, such as insurance, transportation, and training for Angolan employees.

Recognizing that the current trade relations between the two nations fall short of their aspirations, he called on economic actors and citizens from both countries to make more efforts to better understand each other.

On her part, the Moroccan Ambassador to Angola, Saadia El Alaoui, stressed the importance of intensifying bilateral cooperation. She pointed out that both countries contribute to enhancing peace and stability on the African continent.

The ambassador also highlighted Morocco’s new development model, focusing on improving the business climate, creating competitive hubs, and developing massive infrastructures and industrial and logistics zones. Particularly, the automotive and aviation sectors and renewable energy have seen exceptional growth.

These sectors promote the “Made in Morocco” brand and bolster the country’s position as an attractive destination for productive investments.

Furthermore, the Moroccan diplomat noted that the political and institutional reforms implemented by the Kingdom in the last three decades lay the foundation for social and economic dynamics that favor political and institutional stability in a world facing numerous challenges
