Celebrating King Mohammed VI’s 24th Anniversary on the Throne: Diplomatic Reception Honors Morocco’s Vision and Achievements”
Alalam24, The Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Morocco to the United Nations, Mr. Omar Hilale, hosted a joyful reception at the Kingdom’s residence in New York on Monday, commemorating the 24th anniversary of His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s accession to the throne of his ancestors.
The reception was attended by ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps from UN member states, senior officials from the UN Secretariat, and accredited media representatives.
The event was also graced by the presence of the President of the UN General Assembly, Mr. Chaba Korosi, and the President-elect for the next session, Mr. Dennis Francis.
Moroccan community representatives, especially those residing in New York, as well as figures from the business, art, and cultural worlds, also took part in the celebration.
The guests conveyed warm congratulations to His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan people on this joyous occasion. They expressed deep admiration and appreciation for His Majesty’s enlightened vision and the comprehensive and multidimensional achievements of the Kingdom.
Furthermore, the attendees praised Morocco’s work within the United Nations, in line with His Majesty’s royal instructions, particularly in maintaining and enhancing international peace and security, countering hate speech, promoting intercultural and interreligious dialogue, safeguarding human rights, fostering socio-economic and sustainable development, and strengthening effective and active South-South cooperation, especially in support of African countries.
