The director of the virus laboratory at Hassan II University in Casablanca, Moulay Mustapha Naji, explained that viruses like “Arctorus” can reappear after disappearing, and they can be highly infectious or mild depending on their constituent strains. Although the virus can overcome pre-formed immunity in individuals, its virulence decreases over time, and people acquire the necessary immunity to counter it
The Ministry of Health is doing its part in combating the virus by monitoring new health cells, diagnosing them, and taking necessary precautionary measures to confront them, in case they enter the kingdom. The Moroccan government emphasizes the importance of adhering to precautionary measures, maintaining personal and social hygiene, and applying preventive measures in public places to limit the spread of the virus
