Market and Price Monitoring During Ramadan: Launch of National Hotline 5757 for Consumer Complaints and Feedback

During the holy month of Ramadan, national markets experience heightened activity, driven by increased household demand for essential food products that are central to Iftar traditions in Morocco.

To ensure a sufficient and steady supply of goods, authorities are intensifying their efforts, particularly by strengthening control mechanisms to protect consumers from any illegal practices.

As part of these measures, the national hotline 5757 has been launched to allow citizens to report any issues related to market supply, pricing, as well as the quality and safety of consumer products during Ramadan.

Available across the country from both landlines and mobile phones, this hotline enables consumers to directly reach complaint reception and monitoring units established in the various Provinces and Prefectures of the Kingdom.
