As part of the support program for social and economic inclusion initiatives, 78 women’s cooperatives and associations in the Marrakech prefecture have received direct financial assistance. This initiative falls under Program 3 of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), which focuses on “improving income and the economic inclusion of young people.”
With an allocation of 30,000 dirhams per beneficiary, this support aims to strengthen the technical and organizational capacities of these structures. It enables them to acquire equipment, cover management costs, and access training to enhance their competitiveness and promote economic empowerment.
The financial aid was distributed during a ceremony held on Friday at the regional Wilaya headquarters. The benefiting cooperatives and associations operate in various sectors, including livestock farming, cosmetic production, the valorization of aromatic and medicinal plants, sewing and embroidery, candle making, catering, pastry, crafts, and decoration.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to promote women’s entrepreneurship and strengthen their contribution to local development.
