A ministry statement clarified that this movement presented a new opportunity to implement the royal directives that emphasize “initiating a gradual transition path, from a civil service job model based on managing career paths, to a new model built on competency management
” This process was prepared through the application of a comprehensive 360-degree mentoring and evaluation system, which focuses on a more appreciative approach towards human resources and a more objective performance assessment
involving citizens in the evaluation of performance. The statement further highlighted that 640 male and female law enforcement officers benefited from this system during this year.
