Alalam24, Today, the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, engaged in discussions with the UK’s Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and the United Nations, Lord Tariq Ahmad of Wimbledon, focusing on the situation in the region and Africa.

Lord Tariq Ahmad described these phone talks as “constructive,” and in a tweet, he highlighted that the exchange covered various topics, including the situation in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories, Niger, Libya, as well as broader bilateral and regional issues.

During this occasion, Lord Tariq Ahmad conveyed his warm wishes to His Majesty King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the Throne Day.

The relationship between Morocco and the United Kingdom continues to evolve steadily, thanks to the shared political will to reinforce a partnership that spans hundreds of years

In May of last year, the two kingdoms held their fourth strategic dialogue in Rabat, affirming that this longstanding partnership, dating back eight centuries, can only grow stronger, particularly as it expands into key sectors such as education, trade, and climate change
