alalam24, Accredited Moroccan journalists for the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations football tournament held a coordination meeting on Saturday, January 23, 2024, at the Onomo Hotel in Casablanca. The meeting was held to develop a unified general strategy for covering the continental sporting event, as well as to distribute a uniform reflecting the organizational dimension of the media team.
The meeting also aimed to finalize the practical organization plan by representatives of the written, audiovisual, and electronic media, holding an accreditation from the Confederation of African Football (140 journalists), as well as a license from their media company signed and stamped.

On this occasion, Idriss Chahtan, president of the National Association of Media and Publishers, said that coordination between the members of the journalistic team would give a media force by presenting an objective and professional coverage of this event, which is an opportunity to promote Morocco, its culture, its history and its achievements. In addition, the standardization of the journalists attire will add aesthetics to their overall appearance.
It is worth noting that the meeting covered different aspects related to the coverage of the competition, which will start on January 19 and continue until February 10, 2024; the Atlas Lions will participate in it alongside 23 other teams.

The participants also highlighted their intention to cover all matches of the Moroccan national team, as well as other interesting matches. They will also transmit the atmosphere of the competition and the interaction of the supporters and fans with it. They added that they will rely on this event at the national and international level through their channels and social networks to broadcast diverse and multimedia journalistic content, reflecting the civilized and sporting face of Morocco and Africa.

At the end of the meeting, Moroccan journalists received the uniform and took a group photo, as a sign of their cohesion and their preparation to accomplish this mission with professionalism and responsibility.
