In an interview with Moscow 24, Russian nutritionist Yevgeny Arzamastsev highlighted one of the most effective beverages for managing daily stress: cocoa with milk. He explained that it’s rich in magnesium, which helps regulate the nervous system, relieve muscle spasms caused by stress, and stimulate the production of GABA—a calming neurotransmitter. It also contains calcium, which supports smooth nerve signal transmission. He recommends drinking cocoa two to three times a week, in 200 ml servings.

He also noted that chamomile tea and mint tea with lemon are natural options that help reduce stress. These herbs contain essential oils with soothing properties.

However, the doctor warned that some individuals may be sensitive to certain medicinal herbs or may have digestive issues, so caution is advised when choosing natural remedies.

According to other health experts, ginger tea is another effective drink for stress and anxiety. Simply slice fresh ginger, steep it in hot water, strain it, and add honey and lemon juice. The result is a natural, health-boosting drink with calming effects.
