WhatsApp introduces a new feature for channel admins

WhatsApp is working on a new feature designed to enhance interaction between channel admins and their followers by allowing them to send interactive questions directly within the channel.

According to WABetaInfo, this new option — still under development — will be called “Questions” and will appear among the sharing options. It will enable admins to ask a question that followers can answer instantly.

The feature opens the door to various uses, such as gathering opinions on channel topics, surveying audience interests before releasing new content, or engaging followers during online events and contests.

From a technical standpoint, the report explains that responses will only be visible to the channel admin and will not appear to other followers, ensuring greater privacy and making interactions safer and more discreet.

Although this feature is still in preparation and has not been officially launched yet, its release date and usage details are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
