“Maroc Telecom” Launches an Interactive Avatar and Marks a Major Leap in Smart Agriculture in Meknes

As part of the 17th edition of the International Agricultural Exhibition in Morocco (SIAM 2025), Maroc Telecom made a remarkable contribution, further strengthening its position as a strategic digital partner to Moroccan agriculture. The company reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the digital transformation of the agricultural sector by offering smart and innovative solutions that address farmers’ needs while responding to the environmental and technological challenges facing this vital industry.

Maroc Telecom’s booth at the exhibition served as a highly interactive space, attracting the attention of both visitors and professionals thanks to the presentation of several technological innovations that reflect the company’s strategic vision for intelligent and sustainable agriculture.

One of the highlights that drew the most attention was the unveiling of the first intelligent and interactive avatar in Morocco, powered by artificial intelligence and hologram technology. Modeled after Moroccan actress Ibtissam Laaroussi, the avatar greets visitors and interacts with them in three languages (Arabic, French, and English), providing simple explanations about Maroc Telecom’s services tailored to farmers, offering a unique and immersive digital experience.

The booth also featured an advanced area called the “Smart Farm,” showcasing digital agricultural solutions based on the Industrial Internet of Things. These included smart drones designed to detect plant diseases early and guide farmers in the optimal use of fertilizers and pesticides, as well as smart collars placed on livestock to track their movements and analyze their biological data—enabling rapid intervention when needed.
