China Launches a Series of Satellites to Monitor Atmospheric and Space Environments
Alalam24, China launched a series of satellites into space last Thursday from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the northwest of the country.
The satellites (Yunhai-2 02) were launched by a Long March-2D carrier rocket at 1:27 p.m. Pékin time and entered the predetermined orbit.
These satellites will be mainly used for atmospheric environment detection, space environment monitoring, disaster prevention and mitigation, as well as scientific experiments.
This is the 513th mission of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
