“Social Security Announces Temporary Exemption from Late Payment Penalties, Fines, and Debt Collection Measures”
Alalam24, Today, the National Social Security Fund has announced the implementation of temporary relief measures for late payment penalties, fines, and debt collection actions related to the period before December 2024. These measures are part of the support provided to businesses affected by the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic
The partial relief includes the following percentages for late payment penalties, fines, and debt collection measures according to the length of delay
– **Full Payment**: 60% relief on late payment penalties and debt collection measures, and 90% relief on fines
– **24 months or less**: 50% relief on late payment penalties and debt collection measures, and 80% relief on fines
– **25 months or more**: 40% relief on late payment penalties and debt collection measures, and 70% relief on fines
In order to simplify the application process for eligible businesses, the National Social Security Fund has activated a dedicated online service. Businesses can submit their requests through the [Damancom portal](damancm.ma/recouvrement) starting from November 7, 2023
To provide clear guidance to concerned employers, the National Social Security Fund has posted instructional videos and explanatory guides on its official website and social media platforms, outlining the steps for utilizing this service in a straightforward manner
