The airline Ryanair aims to expand its operations in Morocco like never before, with the goal of doubling its passenger numbers to 30 million by 2030, compared to 15 million currently. This initiative is part of an ambitious growth strategy aligned with the prospects of hosting the 2030 FIFA World Cup, strengthening Morocco’s position as a regional and international aviation hub.
To achieve this, the company is working on expanding its operations and increasing its presence in the country. It has also become the first European airline to operate domestic flights in Morocco, opening up new opportunities to enhance air connectivity between different regions.
This announcement comes as Ryanair celebrates reaching 200 million passengers through Madrid-Barajas Airport, highlighting its strong presence in the Spanish market and its impact on air connectivity between Europe and North Africa.
