Squid Game.. Netflix Announces Return of Most-Watched Series
Netflix has announced the release date for the second season of the wildly popular Korean series “Squid Game,” which will debut on our screens on December 26th. And that’s not all, as the platform has also revealed plans to produce a third season of the series, continuing to garner worldwide admiration and excitement.
The first season of “Squid Game” achieved unprecedented success, topping Netflix’s most-watched series list and winning numerous prestigious awards, including the Emmy Award for Best Director, awarded to the talented Hwang Dong-hyuk, and the award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, given to star Lee Jung-jae.
In the second season, we will once again find ourselves in the world of “Squid Game,” filled with surprises and intense confrontations, where the story’s hero, Seong Gi-hun, continues his thrilling journey, after deciding to abandon his new life in America and return to the battlefield, but this time with a different motivation.
The new season is expected to feature new faces alongside the stars of the first part, as a host of new actors have joined the cast.
