A New Revolution in Music Search.. Google Listens to Your Humming
Google is gearing up to launch a groundbreaking feature that will change the way we search for music. After getting used to searching for songs by their lyrics or artists, Google is now offering us the ability to search by “humming.” With this new feature, you’ll simply be able to hum a tune, and Google will find it with astonishing accuracy. According to an analysis of the Android application package (APK) file by Android Authority, the beta version of the Google app isn’t limited to identifying music currently playing on devices; it goes further by identifying music heard in the environment, even if the user is just humming the tune.
Last June, Google revealed that it was working on a new feature in “Circle to Search” called “Audio Search,” which helps users identify music playing on their devices, emphasizing that the feature had even more useful aspects. It’s worth noting that the “Circle to Search” feature was first launched earlier this year on Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra phones, allowing users to search for anything on their phone by long-pressing the home button to summon the Google Assistant.
