Morocco and Azerbaijan Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

Alalam24, In a joint session of the second committee for Morocco-Azerbaijan bilateral cooperation, Foreign Affairs Minister Nasser Bourita emphasized the significant and continuous development of relations between the two countries. This progress aligns with the aspirations of King Mohammed VI and President Ilham Aliyev.

Bourita underscored that the visionary leadership of both nations has fostered substantial growth across various domains, forging a bilateral relationship based on shared values, mutual trust, and cultural ties. The meeting served as a renewed opportunity to enhance commitments to strengthen bilateral ties and explore key areas for collaboration.

The minister highlighted the occasion as an opportunity to assess investment potentials, initiate promising cooperation in new strategic sectors, exchange experiences, and strengthen cultural exchange mechanisms by supporting students and researchers.

Moreover, Bourita regarded the meeting as a cornerstone for launching a trilateral cooperation with African countries, enabling Africa to benefit from Azerbaijani expertise. The focus extended to enhancing bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector through facilitating direct flights and visa issuance.

To give impetus to economic partnership, the Investment and Export Development Agency is organizing an economic forum tomorrow. This event aims to provide momentum to bilateral economic partnerships, allowing entrepreneurs in both countries to establish a promising dual partnership.

During the forum, several cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding will be signed in logistics, energy, environment, sustainable development, employment, and health. These agreements mark the beginning of a promising path to reinforce opportunities for bilateral cooperation
