Ibn Tofail University Hosts Communication Day to Promote Social Inclusion and Family Protection in the Presence of the Minister of Solidarity and the University President

Ibn Tofail University in Kenitra hosted, on Monday, July 20, a communication day under the theme “An Effective Partnership to Promote Social Inclusion and Family Protection,” organized in partnership with the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Inclusion and Family. The event was attended by the Minister of Solidarity, Social Inclusion and Family, Naima Ben Yahia, the President of Ibn Tofail University, Mohamed Ebn Touhami, as well as a number of officials, academics, and researchers. The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional cooperation and enhance coordination mechanisms among stakeholders in support of social policies and to reinforce the university’s role in accompanying public policy.

The event provided a platform for the exchange of ideas and expertise among the various participants while exploring ways to strengthen cooperation between the university and government departments. Its objective was to support major national social initiatives and highlight the contribution of scientific research to addressing societal changes and developing effective solutions to improve public policies.

The program began with the reception of participants, followed by the official opening ceremony, marked by the performance of the national anthem. Opening remarks were delivered by the President of Ibn Tofail University, the Minister of Solidarity, Social Inclusion and Family, and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. A presentation was also given by the research team responsible for developing the dictionary.

The agenda included the presentation of the dictionary, followed by a session dedicated to social assistance academic programs. The event concluded with a visit to the Pedagogical and Digital Innovation Center at Ibn Tofail University.

The organization of this communication day reflects the shared commitment of all partners to strengthening institutional cooperation and coordinating efforts in the social sector. It also underscores the importance of reinforcing collaboration between the university and its institutional environment while affirming the vital role of scientific research in supporting social development programs and initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of families and targeted communities.
