National team coach Walid Regragui emphasized that the primary goal of the Moroccan team is to secure qualification for the 2026 World Cup as soon as possible, ahead of the matches against Niger and Tanzania on March 21 and 25.
In a press conference held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmoura, he explained that playing these two matches at home is an advantage. “We are lucky to play both matches at home, although they won’t be easy. Our opponents will certainly try to cause us some problems, but we are well prepared for that.”
He added: “The team’s development margin is continuously increasing. We still have ten days to improve. The most important thing is to secure the win.”
