UEFA statistics have revealed the ranking of the fastest players since the start of the Champions League group stage. Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi secured second place with a top speed of 36.5 km/h.
Norwegian striker Erling Haaland topped the list as the fastest player in the competition, reaching a speed of 36.6 km/h. Hakimi surpassed his former Paris Saint-Germain teammate, Kylian Mbappé, who ranked third with a speed of 36.4 km/h. In fourth place was Manchester City’s Matheus Nunes at 36.3 km/h, while Brest forward Mama Baldé rounded out the top five with 36.1 km/h.
Hakimi has delivered outstanding individual performances in the tournament, excelling both defensively and offensively. His consistent high-level displays in European football further solidify his status as one of the world’s best full-backs.
