Belgian Press: Talbi Chose Morocco

The Belgian press has confirmed that Chamseddine Talbi has officially decided to represent the Moroccan national team instead of Belgium, after receiving FIFA’s approval to change his sporting nationality.

According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the player has been included in the preliminary squad prepared by national coach Walid Regragui for the March training camp, awaiting confirmation of his final call-up.

The same source added that if the Belgian Federation decided to challenge this decision, they would need to hire a team of lawyers to file an appeal against FIFA’s ruling, a process that would take a long time.

Chamseddine Talbi’s case is nearing a final resolution, and his official inclusion in the “Atlas Lions” squad is expected to be announced soon.
