Faouzi Lekjaa, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, announced that Morocco will need nearly 40,000 volunteers to help organize the 2030 World Cup, which will be held in partnership with Spain and Portugal.
This historic event will require a collective effort to ensure its success, and Lekjaa emphasized that the development of key sectors will depend on training qualified volunteers.
The tasks of the volunteers will vary, from welcoming guests at airports, guiding them, organizing events, to managing media operations.
Registration for volunteers will soon be open, and a rigorous selection process will be implemented to ensure a high level of competence and organization.
The fact that Morocco has been honored with the responsibility of hosting this centennial edition of the World Cup shows the growing importance of the Kingdom on the international stage.
This event will also enhance Morocco’s image as a global sports and tourism destination and affirm its ability to host major events in partnership with renowned countries like Spain and Portugal.
