Moroccan International Walid Cheddira Joins Espanyol
Spanish club Espanyol announced on Tuesday that they have signed Moroccan international Walid Cheddira on a season-long loan from Italian club Napoli.
In a statement, the club confirmed that they have reached an agreement with the Italian club to loan the Moroccan national team striker, who will wear the blue and white jersey this season.
The “Atlas Lion,” aged 26, successfully passed his medical and will join the training session at the Catalan club’s stadium this afternoon, according to the same source.
Cheddira joined Napoli in the 2023-2024 season before being loaned to Frosinone, where he played 39 matches in Serie A and the Cup, scoring 8 goals.
