Neuralink.. Elon Musk’s company develops a new more efficient brain chip
Executives from Neuralink, the brain-chip company of billionaire Elon Musk, have said that the company is developing a new brain chip that will require half the number of electrodes used in previous chips, making it more efficient and effective.
In a live stream on the X social media platform, they added that they are taking other steps to mitigate the risks associated with implanting chips in the brain, including sculpting the surface of the skull and lowering blood carbon dioxide levels to normal levels.
Neuralink took these steps after the first trial participant encountered problems with the fine wires used to install the chip implanted in the brain.
