Tazmamart Village Celebrates the Opening of a Dispensary Offering High-Quality Medical Care
Alalam24, A new medical dispensary was inaugurated in the village of Tazmamart on Friday, December 1, 2023, accordance with the Royal High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. This inauguration is an important achievement that reflects the local authorities’ commitment to implementing the recommendations of the Equity and Reconciliation Commission, and contributes to improving the quality of life of the population by transforming the former Tazmamart prison into a space for the positive preservation of memory, and a model in the field of transitional justice in our country, as a service complex that contributes to local development in the region
In the same context, the Regional Delegation of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in Midelt, in partnership with the National Initiative for Human Development and the Regional Council, organized a multidisciplinary medical caravan for the benefit of the population. This caravan was held under the supervision of the local authorities, headed by the Governor of Midelt, who ensured the provision of the necessary material and human resources in order to contribute to the success of this humanitarian initiative, which falls within the framework of the “Care” program to strengthen health services for the benefit of the population of rural areas. This initiative aims to provide different and multiple services to the population of the region through the provision of medical consultations and treatments supervised by the multidisciplinary mobile unit, including ophthalmology and gastroenterology
